All the advice books and doctors say I should be keeping a log of my pregnancy journey, that I will want to remember this time. Um, maybe not the entire pregnancy. The first two trimesters I felt horrible; I was sick the entire time. And if I wasn't throwing up or falling asleep in the middle of lunch, I was crying uncontrollably because someone cut me off in traffic, or because there were onions on my burger when I had asked for no onions, or because I met the cutest little puppy dog, or because Bo brought me home my favorite ice cream as a surprise, or because my friend's 2-year-old was happy to see me... UGH HORMONES!!! LOL. They say the third trimester is harder than the second, but now that I feel like myself in the personality department, I hardly notice the fat feet, back aches, and ridiculous weight gain. The third trimester RULES. Plus everyone is extra nice to a mego-preggo lady ;) I'm due Feb 27 or Mar 2, depending on which doctor you listen to, so the date is coming up fast. I think the little guy is going to be early, though. The way he moves around, it feels like he really wants out! I can't wait to meet him... but then again I think I want to be pregnant for a while longer because I'm feeling so good right now!
We got some great gifts for Ezra from the baby shower. Ezra got a handmade owl quilt, stuffed animals, and wall hanging, an awesome video baby monitor, homemade super soft washcloths, a baby tent, overalls, hooded towels, diapers, onesies, a bear/Ewok suit, a snow suit, socks, bath toys, a humidifier, gift cards... the list goes on and on! We are very grateful to our friends and family in their support of our growing family.
Note to Ezra:
I think your'e going to be a popular little baby. I am excited to see how you handle all the attention. Are you a shy baby, or are you a big flirt? Either way, you are going to be loved; you already are! It looks like I get my wish; the doctor has ordered a final sonogram to check your size and position. That means Pops and I get to see you before you get here!
